Upgrade Your Testosterone

Hero is all about distilling the essential ways that you can enjoy not only excellent health but also create more loving relationships with your partner and kids.

I was listening to this dense podcast by the man, the legend, Ben Greenfield and I thought to share some helpful tactics when it comes to naturally upgrading your testosterone.

Just a side note, after the birth of a child a man’s testosterone level drops dramatically but it doesn’t have to stay that way.

How to optimise your testosterone when it comes to training:

  1. Lift heavy and use longer rest periods
  2. Train your legs
  3. Avoid chronic cardio

Try adding these to your diet to optimise your testosterone, foods that are rich in:

  1. Magnesium
  2. Vitamin D
  3. Zinc

Mistakes you are making that impact your testosterone levels:

  1. Drinking from plastic bottles (try using a reusable cup)
  2. Spending too many hours doing cardio (try doing sprint sessions instead)
  3. Eating too often (Connect with us if you need support)

Some may seem obvious, some may seem abstract and some may seem unbelievable, literally. These are tried and true and can greatly impact your energy and vitality. As I said, we are all about bringing you the greatest support and empowerment we can offer so you can be the best dad you can possibly be. If you want to know more about our holistic health approach please connect with me on a free Breakthrough Call and we can work out a customised plan just for you.

I’m in my 14th week and continue to love the support Dan and Paul have given me. Dan and Paul have identified and created an awesome program for getting Dads to where they want to be physically, emotionally and mentally. It is a very holistic program where they both have your back and immediately delivers value within a week. The weekly check-ins, daily chats combined with the nutrition, workout training and 1:1 approach make this an invaluable program for a Dad. Can’t recommend it enough.
